Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York
I am not quite sure if this falls under your category, but I have a question. I shop at a store called Aerie (A branch off of American Eagle) and was signed up for their "rewards card" by a cashier who didnt ask me first. But anyway, I was told that after buying 5 bras, i would get a 6th free. Well, when I went to buy my 5th and get the 6th free, they straight up told me that I had to wait for a "coupon" to be either emailed or mailed to me. Well I havent seen either. I have contacted them several times and nothing is being done. To add to all of this, the rewards restart every 3 months, and after September 30th, my free 6th bra is gone. I want to know if that is considered Libel or False Advertising or what. And if something can be done about it. I know it may not mean much but I have spent alot of money to be promised that free item and I am not receiving what I was promised. Thanks for helping me.
