I want to file a NY mechanic's lien for the first time. I am a mechanic. How is this done thur what kind of court? Is the procedure easy?

Mechanic's lien is filed against real property (real estate) for work performed and money not received. Mechanic's lien does not operate against work performed on a vehicle.
