Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York
gym membership
my wife signed a gym membership on march 24 but it didn't become effective until april 1, it stated you can cancel your membership the first three days without any obligation, on april first i attended the gym and on april second i tryed to cancel my membership
and they are saying that it's from the date my wife signed on march 24, how could that be if the contract was not effective until april 1, and i couldn't attend the gym until that date
