Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York
i have two kids that received fillings in 6/2011, the dentist is just now looking for payment??? (12/2012) I thought it was all paid for by insurance and never thought about it. What, if any, is the statute of limitations for them to bill you? I am in NY state.

Contracts have six year statute of limitations. Try negotiating the fee amicably, especially due to late notice. Contractually, the dentist is entitled to his fee, if reasonable and warranted.
