Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York
I went to Mcdonalds and bought some apple dippers and as I was eating them I felt they were too bitter. I looked for the expiration date and saw that it was 13 days ago. Could I sue for Mcdonalds giving me expired food?

You may sue for what you paid for the apple dippers. You may also file a complaint with the Board of Health. However, unless you were made physically sick by the apple dippers, you would not have a personal injury cause of action.
