Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York
I purchased an engagement ring at kay jewelers and the main diamond cracked. I am unable to find the warranty or the receipt. I did pay with my Kay credit card and I am able to get a copy of the statement showing that the ring was purchased with that card. Is there any legal way of getting the ring fixed or returned?

Maybe. It would depend on Kay's terms and conditions concerning the merchandise. You should also contact your credit card company.
