Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York
Hi,
I purchased a glass can of red caviar recently and got sick after i ate it. Then i noticed that the merchant used a new sticker to cover the old one. The new expiration date is in 2011 and the old one was 2006!!, It looks like the merchant with intent tried to deceive consumer. Are there any laws protecting consumer from actions of such sort and is there a way to receive $ compensation for such act?
Thank you for your help!

You have a food poisoning claim against the food vendor. Do you still have the receipt and the caviar? It is important to keep the caviar in the refrigerator so I can have it tested. Call me, Pasquale Calcagno, Esq., for a free consultation at 1(800)WE-FIGHT.
