Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York
If I received an oil delivery without ordering it what is the homeowner responsible for.

Contact the company and refuse shipment. However, if you are going to use the oil, I would accept shipment, pay, and then fire the company. Retain a new company that is not going to deliver oil without your request.
