Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York
If I take scrap iron to a salvage yard based on their advertisement to pay a certain price for certain metals, are they not obligated to pay me for the metal after unloading it even though I refuse to show them my drivers license prior to receiving my payment? And I should state further that their advertisement does not state that they will ask for a driver's license.
