self-storage rights for renter
A self-storage business owner seized my contents without notifing me. He claimed I didn't pay the rent. Then my contents were reported stolen. What are my Rights here.

If they were seized for unpaid fees, you should have been served with a Notice of Sale and Lien, under the Lien Law. If you actually didn't pay the rent , under 201-a of the Lien Law
the owner could take certain steps and auction your property.
However, the theft is a theft. Report it to the police, and if no lien was served, you should be able to sue depending on the facts.
