Selling Textbooks
What are the legal implications of of taking unopened textbooks from the college post office and selling them online? The textbooks are addressed to professors that are no longer at the university.

It will depend if the books were gifted to the professors with the condition that they not be sold. In that case, you would have to get permission from the publisher, and why would they agree to that. Those professors may also want those books to teach where they are now.
