With rare exception, stores can let in whomever they wish, on whatever terms they wish. If they don't want your business, then don't shop there.

The exceptions are largely confined to the area of discrimination. Stores can't discriminate on the basis of sex, race, creed, and so on.

It's not only to prevent shoplifting, it is for security too.

As I mentioned before, this is something that you will want to take up with a lawyer of your own selection, either in your state or area or in a place where some of the pertinent events occurred.
