Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York
can a store like bergdorf goodman in ny , who has no return policy stated on their reciepts or anywhere written in their store for that matter, ban a customer from returning merchandise. is this discrimnation , singling an individual out? this is based on the fact that bergdorf decided the customer has done excessive number of return s in the past. how is that determiend and is that legal. also can they retroactively decide that one can no longer return any previous purchases beyond thirty days past without warning at time of purchase. please help!!!!!!!!!!!

yes, usually it is because of returns without receipts
