Subcontractor wants to tear up my Mom's roof
Hello,
My 74 year old Mom received a call from a contractor today who said the subcontractor who put a new roof on her house is going to rip it off because the contractor did not pay the subcontractor enough money. Needs some advice here on what to do. Thanks

Re: Subcontractor wants to tear up my Mom's roof
Call the sub. Find out what is going on. Warn him that if he does any damage to the house, including "taking off the roof" you will prosecute and sue him. He has a right to a lean, your mom has a right to sue her Gen. Contractor and so does the Sub. I would get a lawyer right away to end this issue before it becomes a five alarm headache.\
Good Luck
