Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York
watch re-selling
I am interested in making my own watches by affixing pre-made watch faces to my own custom watch bands, but am worried about legal issues. I have found several ''wholesale'' outlets online to buy watch faces in bulk, but does the fact that they are wholesalers automatically authorize me to re-sell their products? Or does each wholesale outlet have its own stipulations? Finally, does it matter in either case that though I am not modifying their products per se, I am changing the nature of the products they sold me by attaching them to my own bands? Any help is appreciated...thanks!

Re: watch re-selling
Talk with them, but they know that what they're selling you will be resold by you.
