Can you get arrested for not paying on a payday loan??

As a general rule, no. There isn't debtor's prisons in this country for loans. If the debt collector threatened you with criminal charges, you should contact a local consumer lawyer who is experienced in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Part of the Act prohibits debt collectors from threatening consumers with criminal prosecution.
