Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York
I have no assets other than my 2006 car. I receive only Social Security and a small pension which will end when I die. Is my daughter liable for my credit cards? Her name is not on any of them.

Emphatically...NO! Make sure she understands that. If you live in NY, the car can be re-registered in your daughter's name immediately (with a death certificate). OF course she cannot use your credit card for her benefit (that would be fraud, if discovered). However, you can use your card and make gifts of items you purchase if your sense of fairplay and honesty allow it.
