Bankruptcy

How long does a creditor have to file against a debtor/company after the debtor has filed for bankruptcy. Also, is there anywhere I can find a list of filings to see if they have infact filed for bankruptcy. Thank you.

You have to call the court where the debtor filed for bankruptcy and ask by name...If they did you have to get a copy of the bankruptcy notice (creditors usually get these notices mailed to them). The notice has the cut off dates for filing proof of claim and other important dates...
