Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

I got a car in october. I provided the dealership with my bank account info to debit they payments. No payments were taken out. I contacted them and they never got back to me. In february they contacted me saying the bank had changed and I owe them for the back months can they do this.

it is the suty of the payer to pay and for that you should make sure that payment being made on due date. Yes, they can claim
