Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

Collecting a debt

My question concerns the purchase of a car that unfortunately was terminated due to a missing title. Can we sue to collect the money (1,500) that was exchanged for the car we never received?

Re: Collecting a debt

We discussed this case before. Yes, of course you are entitled by law to a full refund. However, if I remember this case properly, there is a proof problem related to the receipt of the 1500$ You are welcome to a consultation at no fee at my offices at 42 West 44th St, NY,NY. I seem to recall this was asked already...you have a writing that evidences the deal? If you did not get the car and paid $1500 for it sue the seller in small claims court and find out where they bank and/or work... You can seize their bank account money and garnish their wages (if you know where the bank or work and get a judgment). Good luck
