Can I have a copy of the law that states that a debt after 7 years cannot be persued by a collection agency or attorney?

Re: Collection Deadline

There is no such law. I think you have the "statute of limitations" to collect on a debt (6 yrs) and the amount of time a debt can remain on your credit report under the Fair Credit Report Act (7yrs) mixed up. There are exceptions to both laws. Pls Email me and I will gladly send you a copy of either law via email.
