Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York
credit card bill
I was told by Bank of America that I was responsible for a $16000 credit card bill that I co-signed for in 1992 along with my ex husband. I was not married to him in 1992 so if a credit card was signed with my name it was a forgery. What should I do?

Re: credit card bill
You first have to contact Bank of America and ask for a copy of your signature.
If the signature on the form is not your, you must notify Bank of America frauds department.
Mike.
