credit card debt

How can I stop the interest / finance charges on a credit card (visa) that I owe $10,500 orginally now is gone up not from charges that i made but the interest rate and late fees. My account has been closed for months.

Can u recommend anyone or any advice?

Can they do that?

How can i make them to stop taking the interest rate? And what will happen next?

The card holder agreement that you accepted when you used the card the first time permits this.
