credit card debt that is over 10 yrs
i had a credit card that was only 300.00 dollars now they are saying i owe $2,595.00 interest this credit card was taken out in 1997 what can i do

It depends, the sratute of limiations is 6 years starting from one of from many different events, whichever is later. The fact that you opened the card in 1997 has no meaning.
