Today Hudson Valley Collection Ancy. called me about a obgyn bill for $1200 someodd dollars.orignally I owed them a little over 200.00.The lady on the phone said that they didnt add money to it.I have the bill where it shows that they've added past due amounts.I orgianlly didnt pay the bill b/c i was pregnant and never once saw a doctor...just the nurse practitor.I never had a ultrasound until I went to the hostiple for bleeding.And thats when I got my first ultrasound and I had misscarried.The last time I saw the obgyn they told me everything was fine.Im trying to go to school so I can afford to pay this bill.Right now the only job I have is babysitting and theres no openings in my area for anything else.I also have anther child on the way...and I do NOT plan on using them for an obgyn.I plan on going to the hostiple for someone who knows what there doing.I was wondering if they bring me to court would i have a case?

what kind of case would you have? THey would be suing you for medical services. WHen did you go to the doctor? you are not providing enough info to allow me to make an informed response. They can sue you for the unpaid bill. YOu can sue them for whatever you want if you don't run afoul of the law (in terms of statute of limitations). Did they screw something up? If so, you could sue if you did not wait too long... If you owed them $200 whenever it was, they can add interest and court costs to the amount (if they sue you)
