Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York
In December 1999 my daughter requested a loan from a California online broker business, she requested a $300.00 which was tranferred into her checking account, she never paid back this loan back, now they have hired a collections agent to try an collect this money, they have been calling her at work trying to harass her, what options does she have, I told her to contact the Legal Aid Society. My daughter lives In Livingston County.
