sirs,

i owed on a car mother co signed .

mother elderly froze her acct.w/o warning

called bank said ther was a restraing order

can they do that while im alive?

can they keep her checks ?

what about unfreezing acct? thanx gin

Gin: I understand your question to be that your mom co-signed a loan and the CREDITOR froze her account (non-pymnt)w/o notice???? They need a court order and she needs to have been given "notice" (served w/ process). Can who keep what checks?????You may Email me and re-word your question for further clarification.

Your question indicates your mother called her bank to freeze her account. She has the right to freeze the account. You must arrange to pay for the car through another account or with a money order.
