I sent a check to my mortgage company on time, however they later sent me a letter saying that they never received my check! i spoke to my bank about it and they said my check had indeed processed. my mortgage company refuses to drop this, and is requiring me to pay my 2,000 mortgage check (again) and additional late fees! i have spoken to both my bank and the mortgage company

what can i do?

Re: financial debacle

Get a copy of the front and back of the check and look for the payment date on it. Send it to the bank and ask them to remove late fees.

(As a curiosity, please e-mail me the name of the lender that is doing this to you. My email is [email protected].

I have a suit going against one or two lenders for constantly adding late fees for correct payments and I am curious if it is one of those or just an isolated incident. I would appreciate it.)

Good Luck
