Garnishment Law_NY State_Credit Card Debt

What are the laws in NYS governing credit card debt? Can ones wages be garnished for credit card debt? Where can these statutes be find?

Credit card debt is treated much like any other financial liability. Paychecks can be garnished, but only after a judgment is secured.

There are techniques to help resolve this proble; negotiation/settlement and Bankruptcy are two very different means. I have some happy clients based on my negotiation/settlement accomplishments.
