Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

husbands credit card debt / pension/ my paychecks

A credit lawyers office has frozen my joint accounts with my husband due to an old credit card I was even on.This checking account has my paychecks and his pensions checks in it and this lawyer is going to the sheriff to change it from a holding to a levee to take this money. Can he do this and can he take my car from me.He will not work with us we have offered and he was very nasty and has said things to my husband like ''he is in the drivers seat'' not my husband.I thought they can't touch pension checks. And what about my pay am I responsible for this? Someone please help me it has been very stressful I do not know what to do. We are not looking not to pay we just missed 2 payments and this was done without any notice. I don't think this is fair not even to send a letter or try to call. When my husband has called him he doesn' answer the phone or call back.I do not want to file for bankruptcy.

You have to get yourself to the COURT and get the judgment vacated. If you get the judgment vacated all restraints against bank accounts are LIFTED. DO NOT DELAY...DO THIS RIGHT AWAY...
