Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

join account

My daughter put me at her checking account 3 weekes ago and we just found out that the account is freezed b y the collection agency because of my debt. Is this legal?What can I do? I feel so bad since this is not my account or my money...I am just authorized user..Please respnd

This is legal. The only surprise is that the creditor found the 'asset' so quickly.
