Judgement Options

My wife received a phone call from a law firm representing a credit card company that obtained a default jugement against her ($5800). We never received any corrospondence from either party. They had our address wrong.We own a home. I am currently unemployed and her income is just enough to pay our bills. What are our options? We can't afford for them to garnish her salary and we can't take out a home equity loan.

If you were never served with a summons and complaint, you can move to have the judgment vacated.
