Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York
There was a judgement palced against my husband and I. We have disputed this balance from the start, we paperwork going baks 5 years, we in writing with every lawyers office or collection agency sent in a letter requesting info and that was the last we heard from them...till now. I have being sending in letter requesting, the original app to verify wwhat bill this is and they have never done it, since Feb 09, now they palced a judgement against us, I want to go to court and fight this out, there are many other issues. I would love it if someone can send me in the right direction

You would have to go to the Court were the Judgment is filed and ask the clerk for a form Order to Show Cause to vacate the Judgment. In the section concerning the affidavit, you would have to give a reason 1. Why you never answered the summons and 2. Why you do not owe the money.
