Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

Judgements/Insurance

Hello, my question is I have a current judgement against me for an amount and I pay it regularly. In the beginning they were able to suspend my license because it was for insurance.

So now, in the past two weeks I can't pay it because I am on unemployment and I am scared that they will suspend my license. If I ask them to give me some time, they might give me a hard time. What kind of legal ramifications should I have to take, to have them give me a reasonable amount of time because of unemployment if it comes to that? I really need to keep my license to keep on looking for a job and I dont want to worry.

This was respectfully submitted.

Re: Judgements/Insurance

Please refer the matter to your creditor. Make it their responsibility to lift the suspension in order for you to pay them. They are likely to be cooperative. Ask to speak with a supervisor.
