Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York
I had a lawsuit against a nightclub and was awarded money by a judge. The lawsuit was against the club being that we didnt know who the owners were. A week after being awarded money my lawyer contacted me and said that she wouldnt be going any further with my case because she couldnt find the person responsible for the club. I have done my research and I have found who the owner was at the time of the incident. What steps should I take so that I can recieve the awarded money now that I have found the owner?
Thanks

If the judgment is against the club itself, and not against the owner personally, I don't see how you can collect anything from the owner, unless the club was not a legal entity (i.e. corporation or LLC). If you reply with that info, you may be able to get further help.
