liabilities for debt of parents

My mother has passed away and we, her children, are selling her home. Are we responsible for her credit card debts? Must they be paid from the procedes of the sale of the home? Which of her debts are we responsible for?

While the children are not personally liable, her estate is. Her creditors should be paid before distribution to her heirs.
