Lien & need help

An atorney put a lien on my bank account for debt that I owed the credit card company according to my credit report I owed much less than they are saying I owe

anyone out there willing to help me

I need to get the lien off my account still today checks are bouncing left and right

you have to go to the court where the judgment was entered (which allows the attorney to restrain the funds in your bank). You don't mention anything about getting a summons and complaint (the judgment has to be based on a summons and complaint which had to be served on you first, so you have an opportunity to defend yourself in court) if you did not get the summons and complaint you have the right to get the judgment vacated, which would release your account. The amount on your credit report may not reflect additional interest and court costs that are customarily allowed when a judgment is entered. Interest accrues on your credit card debt at rates as high as 25% per annum and court costs can increase the judgment by a couple of hundred dollars...you have the right to see the judgment and determine if the numbers are right...GO TO COURT ASAP AND SPEAK TO A CLERK who can provide assistance on filing a motion to have the judgment vacated.
