Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

Lien On Home

Hello~ I am having a hard time finding an answer and IM hoping you can help.....Once a Lien is put on a home can they still try to collect by other means? Example~ They put a lien on home..1 yr later there trying to make me sell my car to collect? Or even try to freeze my bank account even though a lien was put on house already?

Thank you.

Re: Lien On Home

yes, they can. Until the debt is paid they can take alternative means to collect.
