Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

Liquidation of all funds on private bank accounts

All my funds from my checking and savings account were taken out at a bank teller. The bank told me that my account was on a restraining order, and I was given the phone number of a creditor's rights litigation lawyer. I was not notified of any court orders, liquidation, debt, or court dates. My credit report doesn't show any debt to any company. Is this legal? Why is this happening? What should I do next?
