Re: somebody owes money

Dear Sir or Madam:

I think the best thing you can do at this point is to send to your friend a demand letter on a law firm's letterhead that explains: the nature of the debt,including the amount and any interest which has accrued; the time in which such money must be repaid and a statement that if such money is not repaid appropriate legal remedies will be commenced in the nature of a civil lawsuit.

I have drafted several of these types of letter. Please let me know if Ican be of assistance in this collection matter.
