Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

Trying to get paid

I do work for new car dealerships. I repair there equiptment such as air compressors. A chevy dealer is being sold to another chevy dealer and the original one owes me $1100. The original dealer that owes me for repairs keeps promising to pay me, but as of today no payment. Help!

Assuming that you are an employee of the prior dealership, I would file a claim with the New York labor board.
