Payments to Collection

I have just contacted a bankruptcy and am planning on beginning the process immediately. Should I start making payments or use the monies to go towards to bankruptcy process?

Re: Payments to Collection

if you are going to file for bankruptcy do not make payments on any collection action you are involved in as the bankruptcy will HALT the collection process. While you may be entitled to get back payments made within a certain amount of time before you file for bankruptcy it would take alot of effort to get them back. Just don't pay.
