Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

Received from a Client two NSF checks which were subsequently replaced with Fedwires. The bank recently send us the original NSF checks. The client has a past due balance with us, can we deposit these checks and apply to unpaid balance?

If your bank will accept and there are funds to cover, yes.
