Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York
Safe deposit box seized
My mothers safe deposit box was seized. Ford credit has a judgment against me that I was not aware of. I need to appeal the judgment. I was never served nor were my parents. I was only suppose to be on the safe deposit box as a executive of the will. I don't own anything in the safe deposit box. I need to appeal the judgement. How do I proceed?

Re: Safe deposit box seized
You have to submit and serve an Order to Show Cause to vacate the Judgment on the basis that (1) you were never served and (2) that you have a defense to the action.
