Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

unfair legal bill

Divorce atty. sent final bill that conflicts with previous bill - obviously made-up and doesn't reflect payments made. Despite repeated requests for bill during divorce, last one received was 12/05. What are my rights? Anyone looking at these 2 bills would come to the conclusion that he didn't keep records.

Read your retainer agreement. Rules of fee dispute must be outlined there for matrimonial actions.
