how do I vacate a judgment cheaply? got a letter from ruvin and rothman at my office to garnish my salary, I live check to check and cannot afford another bill. can barely do what I am doing. a lawyer I know got the info and it was "served to me by leaving on the door" at an address I never lived at...I never even lived in that town its from 2006 im considering bankruspsky but why should I if I was never served?

You need to make a motion to "vacate" the judgment on the ground you were not served. Go to the clerk's office, they will supply you with forms. Given how old the case is, if you win the motion you win the case (Statute of Limitations has almost certainly expired.)
