Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

Vacation contract

In January 2002 i signed a Vacation Timeshare in Puerto Vallata,Mexico. I paid for it through two credit cards.

I have made some payments though i have not used my Timeshare, but for the past 3- 4 months i have not been able to make my payments.

I would like to get out of that contract, how do i do that without A) ruined my credit and B)claim bankruptcy??

Thank you,

VM

Re: Vacation contract

This is a difficult question. Having made payments, it is more difficult. A contract was definitely made, but courts do not reach deeply to enforce these contracts. Any breach, any unfilled promise by the company will justify cancelling the agreement. often, you can make your account 'inactive' with the company. It is easy to stop the payments: cancel the credit card. You are welcome to a consultation at my offices for no fee at 42 West 44th Street, NY,NY. Please call for an appointment first. Re: Vacation contract

Call the time share company and see if they will take back the ownership. Do not ask for your $ back.
