Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

Veterans pension exemption?

My husband and I both have judgements filed by same person. I have been unemployed 8 mo. and my husband collects veterans disability. How do we file exemption for our joint ck. acct. so that pension is not garnished?

We stopped direct deposit to our acct. for this reason. Thank you.

Re: Veterans pension exemption?

You need a lawyer to evaluate your case.

The new bankruptcy law is very complicated, and many cases are being dismissed for failing to comply with the new requirements.

It is in my opinion, No Longer Possible to file a Bankruptcy Properly, without an attorney.
