Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York
wage garnishment
I'm barely making a living working only 16 hours a week for $100 weekly for a department store. Can a creditor garnish any of this $100 weekly wage? I've heard it's 25%.

Re: wage garnishment
Generally all wages from work can be garnishedm there are very few types of income which can not be garnished, and as such would make an individual 'judgment proof'.
