Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

I won a 2000 judgment against a person and it was turned over to the sheriffs office for collection.I recently received a letter from the sheriffs office saying that they were unable to locate assets in debtors name for Sheriff seizure sale and that the execution had expired.What should be my next move in pursuing this matter.Thanks for your help.
